Day number two on the blog...another day in dc. We went to the Washington Mall today to go inside the Washington Monument only to find out it was too late and we couldn't go inside. Afterwards we headed to Dupont Circle that I had suggested. I wanted to see if the HRC store had any sweatshirts but they didn't have any that I liked. Then I went to a gay bookstore thinking I'd buy a magazine or DVD. Didn't do either. Some reason I didn't find any interest in buying a magazine full of naked guys today. Had lunch in this small restaurant called Cosi which is much like Quiznos but healthier.
Riding back on the Metro I decided to go to Target while my mom went to a clothing store. Bought some interesting DVDs and a little something for my brand new iPod. Now I'm just spending the time on the computer waiting for tomorrow where I fly back to warm sunny Florida and a Happy New Year.
