My favorite movies can be defined just as well with straight movies as gay movies. Mostly these consist of dramas or the stereotypical "chick flicks." Unfairly gay movies are rated R just for being gay at times. No sex or nudity. Just gay.
My favorite movies range from the straight: "A Walk To Remember", "Bring It On", "Charlie's Angels", and "Chasing Liberty"; to gay films such as: "Latter Days", "Come Undone", "Prom Queen," and "Defying Gravity".
Integral movies, that happen to be rater R, that straight people should watch are: "Laramie Project", Fahrenheit 911", and "And Then The Band Played On".
Movies tagged onto the gay community that should be seen for prevention of hazzardous events are: "Circuit" and "When Boys Fly".
All of these are movies gay or straight. Yet most are catagorized as R just because they are gay or have gay situations. Some of which I approve of but some of which I think all people need to see like my integral movies.
